Mrs Jo-Anne Brown Delivers Yet Another Amazing Speech!

As a result of an inspirational speech given by Mrs. Jo-Anne Brown at the Inspiring Women Entrepreneurs Conference in March 2008, she was once again invited to be a guest speaker, this time at the Bayer President’s Circle Awards Gala last Thursday at the Ritz-Carlton. In attendance, were some of the Bayer Groups’ most prestigious members who had been flown in from around the globe, including the President of the group Mr. Blake.

She addressed several important issues such as the challenges faced developing a business on an island with a relatively small population and recovering from Ivan. Jaws dropped as she recalled how the seas met in Prospect during the hurricane. The audience was enthralled. Mrs. Brown's speech was so well received that afterwards she was overwhelmed by the volume of people wanting to speak to her and congratulating her on how inspired they were by the presentation.

However, Mrs. Brown is not a new comer to public speaking. In fact, she has spoken at several international events promoting the Cayman Islands as a high class destination for weddings. She has already spoken at Brides on Bloor, Canada’s most fashionable wedding event, and also at CITA’s Tourism Exchange.

She is also due to speak at the annual Special Events Conference in San Diego in January 2008 where once again she will encourage couples to consider The Cayman Islands for their dream destination wedding. Another important focus of this trip will be to encourage foreign businesses within the tourism industry to join forces with companies in The Cayman Islands to create a mutually beneficial collaboration.
