Grand Cayman & Celebrations Prepare for Engage 09 - Something Blue

Hi Everyone,

Rebecca Grinnals and Kathryn Arce visited Celebrations yesterday to meet with our entire Special Events Team. The excitement is building for Engage 09 - Something Blue and we cannot wait to show the top professionals in the Wedding Industry what The Cayman Islands and Celebrations are capable of!

During our brainstorming session we discussed some exciting themes for the final farewell dinner on Tuesday 23rd of June. We will be hosting this event and we are looking forward to it! We are also partaking in the 'Cayman Wedding Showcase' and the 'Art of Cayman Weddings' Gallery.

Rebecca kindly presented me with this beautiful Tiffany passport cover as a gift for speaking at Engage09. As many of you already know, blue is my favorite color so I just love it!

Bianca's Disco/Mismatched 16th Birthday Party

Bianca, lovingly called Binky by friends and family is someone that Celebrations has created custom themed parties for her birthdays all the way from when she was just a little girl.

You could say that she has grown right in front of our very own eyes.
For her 16th Birthday, given just one week of turning Bianca's dream of Disco/Mismatched party into a reality, we rose to the challenge of turning it around a such a short period of time.

From the custom printed invitations

to the uber-hip party favors of colorful drink glasses,

groovy wigs and accessories

and super cool sunglasses,

to the swimming pool that we transformed.................

.........into a funky dancefloor that was lit by groovy lights

 

chic lounge sets

and a foam pit

...nothing was spared to make Binky's 16th one to remember.

 

With a lot of attention to details and the sole intent of making Bianca happy, we created a groovy disco-themed party that the celebrant and her family and friends enjoyed.

Winner of Celebrations' Luxury 5 Night Cruise Announced!

Celebrations joined forces with Cayman Airways to give away an amazing Valentine’s Day prize for one lucky customer. Anyone who purchased a floral arrangement valued at $100 or over by February 14th was automatically entered in a draw to win a 5-night Western Caribbean cruise for two from Celebrations including round trip flights to Miami courtesy of Cayman Airways. Conroy Wright was announced as the winner of the prize live on Daybreak. He was overjoyed when he heard the good news as he says he ‘never wins anything’!

Celebrations wanted to giveaway a romantic prize with extra pizzazz especially at this time, and decided that nothing could beat a trip and a cruise for two for five days! The luxury prize trip will comprise of stops in Fort Lauderdale, Key West, Cozumel in Mexico and Belize City. The prize has a value of over $1,500.
